5 Items to Pack on Your Next Trip
Planning to exercise on trips can make packing your suitcase a bit of a hassle. After all, you have a finite amount of space in which to pack everything you will need for a productive workout. Below are 5 most valuable items to pack on your next trip.
5. Perfect Pushup (travel edition) - with a travel version of the popular Perfect Pushup gear now available, you can work on those arms and chest from the privacy of your hotel room.
4. Yoga mat - this one is a little more challenging the other options as it is unlikely you'll be able to fit it into a standard carry-on bag. As a result, if you really want your yoga mat to make the trip, you are probably checking a bag for the airline to lose. Frequent travelers may find it preferable to leave a yoga mat at the hotel. Most hotels are willing to hold bags for returning guests while they are home for the weekend.
3. Big Rubber Band - useful in a variety of stretching exercises, the rubber band takes up very little space in that suitcase.
2. Running shoes and socks - planning to walk, run, bike, or even set foot in the hotel exercise room? Better bring your sneakers.
1. Shirt and shorts - you probably don't want to find yourself deciding between doing pushups in your slacks and situps in your undies, so don't forget to pack some workout clothes.
Finally, if you plan to make multiple stops on your journey or don't want your smelly workout gear rubbing up against that that nice dress on the way home, it might also be a good idea to throw in a grocery sack to put your used stuff in.
